MS River Commission listens to flood concerns

The Mississippi River Commission convened a public hearing in Vicksburg at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to listen to people around the state affected by months of flooding.

People affected by backwater flooding in the lower Delta counties, down to people from the Gulf Coast impacted by the opening of the Bonnet Carre Spillway will get an opportunity to let the Commission know how the months long crisis has affected their homes and businesses.
