Calhoun City under state of emergency due to tornado


CALHOUN CITY, Miss. (WJTV) – Calhoun City in under a state of emergency after a tornado hit the area Sunday night.

Crews have been working to restore power to customers. Several agencies also worked to clear the roads of debris and downed trees.

The tornado also caused extensive damage and gas leaks. According to leaders, the gas leaks have been fixed.

No injuries were reported from the storm.
